I mentioned before that if I were to pick a non-neutral color to wear, it would absolutely be red. It's not a color that allows you to hide in the corners and whenever I wear it I feel confident and strong. It truly is a power color! With that in mind, whenever I go thrifting, I make sure never to skip through the red sections (Luckily the Salvation Army nearest me color codes their items! I know, right? It's heavenly). And sure enough, one fateful day, I found this beautiful vintage, blazer-style silk blouse from Saks Fifth Avenue just waiting for me to it home. I love the lapels, pocket, and how it drapes just enough for the slightest hint of decolletage. It just so happens, that on that very same trip to the thrift store, I found these vintage men's Sears polyester shorts hanging on the end of one of the clothing racks. Clearly some poor fool made the rash decision to leave them behind - but all the better for a scavenger like me! I bought them with the original intention of selling them, but tried them on and the rest is history. Paired with these fabulous Shelly's London flats, I found a favorite summer look.
